Let the adventure begin!

So here's a little story of my week. On Sunday night, my husband left and went to work to work his regular 12 hour night shift. I hadn't felt good all day long. I was tired, swollen, and just felt kinda blah. I layed around on the couch most of the day and even had Mom come out here and help me with a few things. If you know me at all, you know I don't accept help easily. So having her come out to help should have been a sign. I went to bed around midnight that night and woke up at 3 am feeling like I had wet the bed. I got up and sure enough, my water had broke. I called my parents and we called Seth and told him to come home. We headed to the hospital to start the process called labor.

I was in labor from 3 am on April 11th until 12:58 am April 12th. We welcomed in our first child, a son, Talent Espn Reynolds. He was 7 lbs 6 1/2 oz, 18 1/2 inches long and absolutely perfect. It was a long night and by the time Talent got here, we were all exhausted. I had a very hard labor and ended up having to get a C Section. But honestly, I didn't care how he got here as long as he was healthy. And he is very healthy. He's beautiful. I am spoiling him already and I'm sure some day I will regret that. But for now, I'm enjoying every single minute of it.

His Daddy had never held a baby before this. It was great that I got to experience all of this with him. Seth is already a great dad. He holds him, feeds him, and has even helped dress him. He's been a tremendous help to me and I am so thankful that I have him here to help me with the things I can't do on my own right now. I have to say I've never been more in love with this man. Having a child is no doubt going to change our lives, but I think having this experience with him has been amazing. So I'm going to leave you with a few pictures of out little family.
